Job Purpose:


We are looking for an adaptable
SRO Receiver who can take on the challenge of Receiving and Shipping
responsibilities in
our Service team located in Burnaby, BC.


This position requires an individual with an attention to detail, a sense of urgency and a strong customer service focus.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive/ship the returned products.
  • Provide accurate count and verify identification of products received and deliver them to Repair depot.
  • Ensure efficient servicerelated product flow throughout the warehouse and service team.
  • Perform cycle counts for service warehouse.
  • Store, issue, and control inventory items within the Service warehouse.
  • Observe proper material handling procedures in performance of duties.
  • Operate forklift and/or reach truck, as required (training and certification is provided).
  • Perform material transactions in ERP.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Organized, detail oriented, dependable, reliable, and proactive
  • Willingness to be flexible and able to support Service team with other duties that may be required
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Good computer knowledge: able to use MS Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of, or readiness to learn ERP Syteline
  • Ability to accurately count, identify product and verify with paperwork in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to move and lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.

General Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
  • This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
  • Must be able and willing to wear a respirator.
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime.
  • Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must be able and willing to operate a forklift.
