Your Opportunity

Our Ottawa office is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Evaluation Services team in our Risk Advisory Services practice from September to December 2024.

Some recent engagements of our team include:

  • Assessing the impact of government programs on the housing sector in Canada and the risk of climate change on affordable housing availability.
  • Identifying best practices in social innovation and finance internationally and assessing their applicability to support the Canadian arts sector.
  • Reviewing economic development supports and funding programs for Indigenous populations in Canada and providing improvement recommendations.
  • Serving clients from various public sector organizations including Indigenous Services Canada, Canada Council for the Arts, Invest in Canada, and more.
The Co-op Student or Intern will be responsible for:
  • Supporting engagement teams in planning and executing program evaluations.
  • Playing a key role in multiple projects, closely collaborating with leadership and clients.
  • Reviewing, documenting, evaluating, and assessing programs' relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency in diverse environments.
  • Adopting a proactive approach to information analysis and presenting complex ideas clearly through communication.

Your experience and education
  • Currently pursuing a degree in social science, economics, or business from a recognized university.
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service and working collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive approach to understanding.
  • Strong abilities in assessing relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, analysis, writing, and communication.
  • Eligible for Government of Canada security clearance.
  • Fluency in both French and English is advantageous.
