As a Hydrogeologist, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering innovative projects across Canada. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving forward our mission to preserve and restore the environment for future generations.

Some of what you will do:

  • Assist on various hydrogeological / hydrological projects, investigations, studies and assessments with an emphasis in the mining sector.
  • Execute field work that may involve drilling boreholes, test pitting, logging, piezometer installation, water and soil sampling, and earthwork QA / QC.
  • Interpret results and develop conclusions based on collected data.
  • Carry out duties based on knowledge of project management principals and theory.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in hydrogeology.
  • Bachelor's Degree in hydrology, geology, engineering with related hydrogeology coursework with demonstrated additional educational coursework and onthejob training.
  • Experience in production well and monitoring well drilling oversight.
  • Experience performing and analyzing hydraulic tests including slug tests, aquifer tests and packer tests.
  • Experience with waterquality sampling methods and protocols.
  • Familiarity with CADD, ArcGIS, Microsoft Access and / or a programming language is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, standard procedures, and interacting with personnel of diverse international backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal ability (in your relationships with staff, colleagues and clients), effective verbal and presentation skills.
  • Good technical writing skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to travel as required on field work up to 50% of the time.
