The Finishing Department Client Specialist, as an integral member of the Sales Department, is responsible as a key point of contact for Igloo's customer base.

Main duty categories include, but are not limited to incoming phone calls, data entry, invoicing, coordination of client requests, dispute resolution and cooperative work with internal stakeholders (design/engineering, office, operations, and manufacturing for our siding, electrical, lighting and flooring divisions).


KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties:

  • Work in tandem with account manager(s) as assigned by management
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients


Internal
  • Design, Manufacturing, Operations, Accounts Receivable


External
  • Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, Framers, Purchasers, Designers, Estimators
  • Manage all phone calls and daily communications for assigned accounts including walkin cash accounts
  • Fulfill quote and design requests, tenders, and orders for client base
  • Daily data entry for both supply and manufacturing needs
  • PO entry and order reconciliation
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets as necessary
  • Maintain builder's portals: scheduling, PO/VPO requests
  • Follow through on design requestsincluding preparation of quotes
  • Prepare supplier letters for city/town/municipal departments as required
  • Address customer concerns with appropriate internal departments
  • Compile documentation with returned product (Credits/Client Returns)
  • Process credit card sales for customers where applicable
  • Assist in setting up new customer accounts
  • Participate in weekly meeting with management
  • Assist clients with finishing selections
  • Other jobrelated duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Training:
High School Diploma, previous experience and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Superior analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent attention to details and prioritization skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Strives for Continuous Improvement
  • Willingness to cross train to other positions to complement role
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Punctual and consistent attendance are a must
  • Ability to work unattended, limit distractions, stay on task, work and plan ahead to keep on schedule
