  • Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Wood framing of partition walls-
  • Completing interior architectural finishes-
  • Installing pre-finished drywall-
  • Installing and taping regular drywall-
  • Insulating wood partition walls-
  • Build wood stairs and wheelchair ramps-
  • Levelling trailers with blocking on steel skids-
  • Repairing door hardware-
  • Painting drywall-
  • Doing the layout including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions-
  • Cutting and shaping materials and joining them with nails, screws, bolts or glue-
  • To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson in the trade of Carpentry-
  • Good Physical Condition and able to twist and bend, and perform repetitive type movements-
  • Able to push/pull up to 50 lbs-
  • Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs-
  • Able to work at heights-
  • Experience working on commercial or residential construction sites would be considered an asset-
  • Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
  • You must have the following:
  • CSTS -09-
  • WHMIS 2015-
  • Driver's License Class 5 (NO GDL) and reliable transportationEdmonton (Nason)
