The Engineering Manager will lead the engineering department, focusing on product and production development, as well as field support. This role involves project management, design oversight, and supporting field personnel.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team efficiently.
  • Conduct design reviews and troubleshoot issues.
  • Coach and develop the engineering staff.
  • Work towards achieving tactical goals and milestones.
  • Optimize the Solidworks environment for enhanced efficiency.
  • Ensure individual performance accountabilities are met.
  • Participate in the design process and translate ideas into technical drawings.
  • Oversee new product development and create specifications.
  • Provide hands-on support to shop floor, field, and customer personnel.
  • Assist in product costings and enforce Solidworks best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 8 years of Engineering experience in manufacturing settings.
  • Solidworks and Draftsight proficiency is essential.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to create and analyze engineering models and calculations.
  • P.Eng. certification considered a plus.
