Reporting to the
General Manager, the
Rebar
Estimator, based in
Dartmouth, NS will be responsible for estimating the rebars needed for multiple construction (commercial, residential, infrastructure) projects demands.

Role and responsabilities:

  • Oversee the acquisition of complete tender documents for takeoff purposes;
  • Takeoff complete and accurate estimate for pricing;
  • Provide budget quantities & suggestions for a customer's proposed projects;
  • Have a positive & helpful line of communication with the detailing departement;
  • Participate and attend pretender award meetings, management meetings and staff meetings.

Qualifications

  • College diploma in civil engineering, estimating or drafting;
  • 3 to 5 years of estimating experience;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience estimating rebar projects;
  • Ability to work on mutiple projects;
  • Autonomy, creative, flexible;
  • High level of organization;
  • Very good communication skills;
