What You'll Do:


Today we are growing the team which is forging the first adventures in LEGO Fortnite, blending the engaging and welcoming Fortnite universe with the creativity and playfulness of LEGO.

In this role, you will be the primary production advocate for release readiness, acting as a key partner to the LEGO Fortnite dev team, and the centralized Release Management team.

The Release Management team are the guardians of builds before they get to players.

They are looked upon to identify and mitigate risks associated with player experience, communicate timelines clearly, and set a path forward for each milestone.


In this role, you will:

  • Working closely with dev production, QA, and Live Ops teams on identifying and resolving risks related to milestones and releases
  • Developing new practices and structures to better scale release management and stabilization processes across our Fortnite ecosystem
  • Owning the scheduling, coordination, quality control, and external certification process across multiple platforms and/or products
  • Knowing the process for submitting builds to external partners inside and out, and is the expert on all things related to external build certification
  • Working with QA Leads to establish and maintain bug triage process, determine and prioritize mustfix issues for release and work with appropriate team members to ensure bug fixes happen as planned
  • Coordinating internal and external release notes, known issues, and knowledge base updates
  • Ensuring releases have passed all required checks and approvals leading up to live deployment and effectively communicating approved exceptions to all necessary parties

What we're looking for:

  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in rightsized process development and improvement
  • Experience with build and release processes for Software or Games as a Service product
  • Familiar with Perforce, Jira, Grafana
  • Exposure to platform certification processes
  • Technical orientation and a strong understanding of software development
  • Knowledge of the game development process and exposure to working with shipped and live titles
