Commercial Lead Targeted Therapies


This position is responsible for two targeted therapies in the Oncology business unit, Vitrakvi (targeted tumour agnostic) and Xofigo (taregeted radiopharmaceutical metastatic prostate cancer).

Position will lead a national sales team and associate market manager to develop and execute brand strategies for both treatments - driving uptake of a unique precision oncology molecule across multiple tumor types and maintaining Xofigo at its later stage in life cycle.

This includes supporting the brands, customers and market for use of these therapies including the diagnostic testing support for Vitrakvi.

What you will do:

  • Lead the strategic framework for early public access and growth of Vitrakvi including the diagnostic testing access as well as driving the strategy to maintain Xofigo
  • Internal and external omnichannel marketing for both novel treatment requiring companion diagnostics as well as radiopharmaceutical
  • Drive insight generation, sales training, TL engagement and patient advocacy activities
  • Lead crossfunctional team through development and execution of strategic brand plan to operationalize biomarker testing strategies and drive both brands and to gather insights and field intelligence / competitor information to drive strategy
  • Develop and execute effective communication plans for commercial activities
  • Effectively communicate and garner support for strategies and investments to senior management
  • Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with Thought Leaders, focusing on molecular pathologists, geneticists, nuclear medicine and medical oncologists
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with regional and global marketing colleagues to represent and integrate local needs into global marketing/brand strategies
  • Manage 3 field Key Account Managers across the country and an inoffice Associate Market Manager

Who you are:

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity


 Strategic mindset
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business strategy
  • Drives results
  • Experience / Knowledge of genomics and biomarkers is a strong asset
  • Oncology experience an asset
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative, proactive and solutionoriented mindset
  • Ability to work successfully with crossfunctional teams and influence appropriate plans and actions
  • Able to develop good relationships with Thought Leaders
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
