Looking for a carpenter experience is an asset, that can read drawings and work within a group to complete job from start to finish.

Good eye for details, including framing, flooring, drywall, trim, painting.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and form materials.
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props.
  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Woodstock, ON N4S 2P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (required)

- construction: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
