Ryu is a high-end sushi restaurant offering a curated menu of traditional Japanese dishes each elevated with a modern touch.

We're looking to hire experienced
FOOD EXPEDITORS to join our team this Fall.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate orders and information between the kitchen and front of house staff
  • Ensure high standards of plating and presentation
  • Verify that the food is cooked in a timely manner respecting portion control and menu descriptions
  • Assist in management tasks restaurantwide and help the floor staff when needed
  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
  • Adhere to sanitation measures while maintaining a clean and organized work area

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience as a food expeditor in a similar environment
  • Food and wine knowledge is required
  • Organizational and communication skills are a must
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French & English

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
