Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • CNC machine coolant management and coolantrelated equipment checks
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Daily Crane Inspection
  • Daily Forklift Inspection
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment, manually or using powered equipment
  • Loading and unloading materials, products or equipment from shelves or storage areas.
  • Assist machine operators and other workers.
  • Other tasks as directed from time to time
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, and commitment to maintain a safe work environment. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors about tasks and potential issues.

Skills & Experience

  • Mechanically inclined (auto repair or maintenance type of skills).
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
  • Able to adhere to all safety policies and promote safe work practices.
  • Work effectively in a team setting.
  • Quick learner and able to listen and follow directions.
  • Basic numeracy skills and able to perform basic math.
  • Experience using cordless or pneumatic hand tools.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labour.
  • Maintain a quick and steady pace throughout your work shift.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and communication, both verbal and written.
  • Reliable.

Qualification Requirement

  • A high school qualification or equivalent.
  • Valid G divers license
  • Willingness to undertake training if necessary.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would also be an asset.

$20.00-$23.00 per hour
