The successful candidate

will work under the supervision of the School Principal, to implement and deliver the curriculum as planned by the teacher ensuring the students are receiving appropriate instruction.

We are seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working with children and youth with developmental disabilities including complex physical, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental profiles.


Duties:
Direct programming as planned and guided by the teacher Implement IPP goals for individual students Work collaboratively with a supporting team, including OT, SLP, Behaviour Consultants, to ensure student goals are achieved Toileting of students may be required Qualification & Experience: Completion of a two-year Early Learning & Childhood Diploma from an Alberta University or College Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification is required Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training is preferred Familiarity with technology (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, apps, etc.)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated capacity to thrive both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment Proven ability to incorporate feedback effectively and adeptly manage competing priorities Understanding of division and school policies, Alberta Education curriculum and confidentiality Hours of Work:
Hours of work are 17.5 hours per week; 3.5 hours per day; mornings

Hourly Rate:
