Elementary Vice-principal

This
regular part time position will be available as of July 1, 2024 at Good Shepherd school located at 5770 Aline Street in Brossard.

NATURE OF THE TASK:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in education or an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum threeyear university program
• Master's level degree or Certificate in Educational Administration (completed or in progress).
• Permanent teaching licence issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS).
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience.

FURTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Mastery of both French and English, spoken and written.
• Excellent interpersonal relation and communication skills.
• Commitment to the integration of students with special needs.
• Excellent understanding of childhood literacy.
• Understanding of Riverside School Board structures and operations.
• Strong knowledge of pedagogical programmes and the Quebec Education Program.
• Proven Leadership Skills.

SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

As outlined in the Regulation Respecting the Conditions of Employment of Management Staff of School Boards. This position falls within the classification 06, between $47,160.00 and $62,878.20 according to qualifications and experience.
