Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corian Fabricator to join our team.

As a Corian Fabricator, you will be responsible for transforming Corian and other solid surface materials into finished products, such as walls, countertops, vanities, and custom pieces.

Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the creation of high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate solid surface products/millwork including countertops, feature walls and cabinet parts
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
• Operate a variety of tools and machinery to cut, shape, and fabricate Corian and other solid surface materials. CNC operation skills would be an asset
• Measure, mark, and template surfaces for accurate fabrication
• Join and bond solid surface pieces using appropriate adhesives and techniques
• Polish and finish surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate project execution
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate personnel
• Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet established standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Corian fabrication techniques
• Install features/fixtures on site when required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Corian Fabricator or Cabinetry, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of Corian and/or other solid surface materials, their properties, and appropriate fabrication techniques
• Proficiency in operating tools and machinery commonly used in Corian fabrication, such as routers, saws, and sanders
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, highquality work
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work well within a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them at all times
• AutoCAD and CNC operating software; SolidWorks or equivalent an asset
• Minimum high school diploma, secondary school diploma or pursuit thereof preferred
• Valid drivers license and ownership of a vehicle

Related Training:

• Completion of a relevant vocational or technical program in Corian fabrication or a related field is preferred
• Certification or training courses in Corian fabrication techniques and safety protocols is preferred
• Familiarity with CAD software for reading and modifying design files is a plus
