We are currently accepting applications for Lead, Learning Commons. Reporting to the Principal of Teaching and Learning, the Lead, Learning Commons provides support in the operations and functions of the learning commons in accordance with the objectives of the Teaching and Learning department and student needs. The Lead Learning Commons has a broad knowledge of all services and resources offered throughout the whole school learning commons including research, IT support, learning strategies, assistive technology and traditional hard copy publications.

TR Leger Kemptville Campus

TR Leger Alexandria Campus

Qualifications and Experience:

Secondary school diploma and completion of two year community college Library and Information Technician Diploma is required.

Two years previous experience working in a library utilizing learning resources and information technology is a requirement.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The ability to attend work at multiple worksite locations is a requirement

UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors.

If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity ensure that you list the length of time that you worked for that Supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.

Selection Process:

Applicants selected for an interview will be invited to attend a virtual live interview via Microsoft Teams. Interviews typically include a panel of two (2) Hiring Managers.
