About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Material Handler (Forklift) to work in our Canada office in Brampton, ON. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient levels of inventory replenishment and relocation using an RF Scanner.

Responsibilities

  • The following requires knowledge and use of RF Scanner:


Daily
  • Inventory replenishment to all areas of warehouse.


Daily - Inventory relocation and rotation to all areas of the warehouse.


Daily - Receiving - unloading and loading of inventory.


 As Assigned
  • Picking and loading of inter facility transfers.


 As Assigned
  • Picking case pick portion of customer orders, primary and bulk orders.


 As assigned
  • Checking integrity of inbound transfers.


 As assigned
  • Assisting in all other areas of the warehouse.


 As assigned
  • Offloading containers and verifying piece counts with quantities shown on expected goods sheets (EGS).
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed to drive Reach, Order Picker and Walkie.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while prioritizing safety.
  • Well organized and able to multitask.
  • Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
  • Ability to understand written and oral English instructions.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Must have the ability to perform basic to intermediate math skills (Unit of measure calculations, etc.).
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner and be aware of all forklift hazards.
  • Minimum two years prior experience and/or training in similar distribution environment preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
