Audiologist or Hearing Aid PractitionerAcoustic Audiology is an audiologist-owned hearing clinic in Lloydminster and a leader in evidence-based audiological care.

We are looking for a confident Audiologist or Hearing Aid Practitioner to join our team.

Experience is preferred, but new graduates that demonstrate commitment to high-quality care and a passion for ongoing learning will also be considered.

As we are located in a smaller community, we have a diverse caseload. This allows plenty of opportunities for learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities include:


Comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluationsPrescribing, fitting, programming, and verifying (using REM) hearing aids and accessoriesCounselling, follow-up support, and on-going care for clients and their familiesProper charting, report writing, and documentationInvolvement with marketing and community outreachThe ideal candidate will possess these skills:Experience performing audiological assessmentsExperience dispensing hearing aidsKnowledge of hearing aids and programming software from major hearing aid manufacturersAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong relationship building, counseling, and follow-up skillsMotivated to put the client firstAbility to take initiative when appropriateMotivated to help the clinic growMinimum qualifications include:AudiologistMaster's Degree in Audiology or Audiology Doctorate (AuD)Registered with ACSLPA or eligible to registerFluent in English, both written and spokenHearing Aid PractitionerHearing Aid Practitioner/Hearing Instrument Specialist Diploma or equivalentRegistered with CHAPA or eligible to registerFluent in English, both written and spokenAcoustic Audiology currently sees patients over the age of 6.

Audiologists will be expected to provide assessments and care for both adults and children.
