Experts in their field, this Cardiff based business is looking for a HR Systems/Project Manager to join their busy operation. This successful business is focussed on first class service provision across south Wales and the south west, they have gone from strength to strength, currently employing circa 1500 people.
This role will be working in a talented HR team and will report into an experienced Group HR Director. The role will initially take the lead in the company wide implementation of a workforce management system, ensuring its successful completion in the next 12-18 months. The role will then involve leading on various HR projects with the focus on organisation wide continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both human resources and project management. You will have excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills to successfully drive projects through to completion.

The job
  • To lead the planning, execution and delivery of HR projects, ensuring alignment with the organisational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, IT leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets and track progress against milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate resources to support project activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Communicate project status, updates and key milestones to stakeholders through regular meetings, reports and presentations where required.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts and dependencies in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to assess effectiveness, identify lessons learned and make recommendations for continuous development.
The person specification
  • Degree in HR, IT or significant related experience.
  • Proven experience of implementing new systems for HR is essential.
  • You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • This role will suit someone who can work in a methodical manner, who is able to establish relations with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Willing able to travel to office in south West England.
Salary & benefits
  • c£55,000 per annum
  • 37.5-hour week – Monday to Friday

  • 25 days + bank holidays
