Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and responsible care for one year old
  • Engage child in ageappropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play
  • Prepare meals and snacks, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up after meals and playtime
  • Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding daily activities, schedules, and any concerns or updates
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with one year olds
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents
  • Knowledge of ageappropriate developmental milestones and activities
  • Basic understanding of first aid and Cpr and natural health supplements are an asset
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the family's home

Skills:

  • Cooking: Ability to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
  • Cleaning: Willingness to assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare
