Description:
- The Department of Internal Medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, and Shared Health Manitoba are seeking applications for the role of Head of the Section of Neurology.
- The incumbent will play a key role in the delivery of Neurology services in Winnipeg and Manitoba, overseeing faculty members, an MS research group, and a residency training program.
- The position involves leadership in academic and clinical Neurology, collaboration with related disciplines, and a focus on undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- This is a full-time position starting on September 1, 2020, with a term of five years, renewable based on performance.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold senior specialty qualifications in Neurology and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Neurology is preferred.
Compensation: Salary and rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
