Mack Construction Services Ltd. is a turnkey utility construction company. We provide horizontal directional drilling, hydrovac, excavating, and many other services in the telecom, utility and pipeline industry.

We are looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals with a great attitude, who have experience with utility and telecom construction.

At MACK, you will work with safe, dedicated, and experienced teams committed to meeting client deadlines while upholding the highest of safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

Can supervise up to 20 crew members. Can manage T&M and sub-contractors. Work with utility locators. Mark out alignments/pre-planning for HDD, Hydrovacs, as well as managing back-end crews (placing vaults, PED's, backfilling).

Comfortable with online reporting (phone, laptop). Pro-active with redline mark-ups on drawings, billing meter walks, completing accurate production reporting & safety reporting.

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum 3-5 years _telecommunication, shallow utility construction experience

Supervisory experience 2+ years

Must have a Class 5 License - with a Clean Drivers Abstract (Class 1, 3 or Air brakes an asset)

Experience with vault placement, ped tie-ins and fiber placement; directional drilling/locating.

Required Tickets - CSTS, Ground Disturbance Level II, and First Aid (other tickets including Leadership for Safety Excellence, Confined Space, H2S, Fall Pro, etc. is an asset)

Good Attitude, Team Player, Willing to work - supervisory experience/abilities.

Wage is dependent on experience.

Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
