Food Service Worker - Culinary Exchange

D U T I E S
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Culinary Exchange Assistant will support the day-to
- day operations of the culinary labs and food service outlets. Duties of the position include but are

not limited to:
shopping for and storing ingredients and products used in labs, packing and
unpacking ingredient carts used in labs, creating product inventories, and assisting with other

  • R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
  • Experience using payment cards
  • Demonstrate ability to perform duties with professionalism
  • Effective organizational and time management skills. Able to multitask
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to work respectfully in a team environment
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and
continuous improvement

  • Experience in the foodservice industry
  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Experience handling cash and credit cards

  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
  • This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer

  • Incumbent must be physically capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the
position. A medical certificate from a certified physician will be required.
