Roles & Responsibilities

  • Comply with company safety program and policies.
  • Work in a strong team environment and complete tasks as assigned.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Work closely with the paving Foreman and Superintendent.
  • Complete daily equipment checklists.
  • Able to use automatics, toe points, skis, for spreading hot asphalt on roadways, driveways, parking lots.
  • Able to make sure that the screed is preheated and leveled prior to operating.
  • Able to identify and rectify segregated areas in the asphalt mat.
  • Observe and monitor asphalt material along the screed for proper allocation.
  • Able to operate other equipment

ie:
skidsteer, rollers, plate tampers is an asset.

  • Willing to train others for a more efficient team.

Qualification Requirements

  • Must have a valid drivers' license.
  • Comply with all Saskatchewan's traffic laws, Federal regulations, and safety requirements.
  • May require pre-access drug testing for some sites.

Preferred Skill:

  • Saskatoon based, but willing to travel based on work.
  • Seasonal
  • Operate equipment in a safe manor.
  • Have strong work ethics and wanting to work in a team environment.
  • Able to perform regular physical/labour work.
  • Have leadership qualities.
