Aerospace Structural Assembler

AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical assistance to industrialization, production and maintenance processes for about 15 years

We operate in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors.

A typical day?

  • Read and interpret drawings;
  • Carry out an inventory of components before proceeding with assembly
  • Carry out, from a manufacturing file, the assembly of subassemblies and structural units of airframes and aircraft systems;
  • Adapt your work to the different types of assembly: large / small components;
  • Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be done;
  • Use a variety of production techniques for assembly, including riveting;
  • Use putty, metallization, anticorrosive, touch up paint;
  • You ensure, by various means of control, the conformity of the assemblies compared to the manufacturing file;
  • Report any discrepancies;
  • Carry out all operations in compliance with the health and safety rules in force.
  • Compliance with the F.O.D.

Qualifications:

  • You have at least a vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • You have excellent knowledge of reading drawings.
  • You are dexterous.
  • You have a quick mind and an eye for detail;
  • You are flexible with respect to work shifts.


 Bilingualism (French
  • English) in speaking and writing is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the client site and technical documentation.
