Bodwell High School is a private boarding school located at North Vancouver. We are currently looking for
Full and
PART TIME CLEANERS for a wide range of roles to provide support at our building. 6-8 hour shift. Must be available on weekends.

Position Responsibilities

  • Regular duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, bathrooms, managing laundry, and keeping the premises neat and tidy
  • Clean and supply school building
  • Routine upkeep school exterior and parking lot
  • Collect & dispose of trash and recycling
  • Handle all work material and equipment with care and keep it well cleaned
  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects during school holiday
  • Notify management of needed repairs
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner with mínimal supervision
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legal to work in Canada.
  • Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • One year janitor/ housekeeper experience preferred but will train
  • Possess a good understanding of English language, both written and oral
  • Physically capable of lifting or moving objects up to 40lb
  • Integrity and ability to work independently
  • Well mannered, reliable and take directions well
  • Subject to criminal records reviews
$18-20 per hour depending on experience.
