Salary: $85,917 to $100,165 (with additional allowances)

Essential qualifications

  • Master's degree in clinical, forensic, or counseling psychology
  • Registered/Licensed Psychologist for autonomous practice
  • Experience in providing psychological services to adults

Other qualifications

  • Doctorate in clinical, forensic, or counseling psychology
  • Experience in forensic/correctional settings and diverse populations
  • Experience in culturally sensitive interventions and diagnosing mental disorders

Assessment requirements

  • Competencies in integrity, respect, effective communication, teamwork, and initiative

Additional assessment may include

  • Knowledge of Correctional Service, Criminal Justice System, provincial legislation, and Indigenous history
  • Understanding trauma-informed and client-centered principles
