Responsibilities
What your day will look like
Support detailed design and drafting of all activities associated with the team's land development projects Support preparation of storm and sanitary design sheets and servicing reports Prepare and coordinate Requests for Proposals and submissions Prepare project construction cost estimates Prepare high quality product and aesthetic submission drawings meeting our QC requirements Manage one's own workload ensuring project and personal growth objectives are metLearning & Development
Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committeesQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a relatable degree Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D Basic knowledge of grading and servicing design Basic knowledge of stormwater management Motivated to be part of a growing team and to grow professionally in the field of municipal engineeringExperience
Hands-on experience in functional and detailed design drawings of various civil and municipal infrastructure projects Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D software is required Experience implementing relevant municipal/provincial engineering standards Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment Working knowledge of municipal servicing standards; familiarity with provincial regulatory requirements for environmental approvals would be an asset Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination Some experience in project proposal preparation and presentationsWhy choose Dillon
