About the Role:

CASA House provides a living program for teenagers requiring support with significant mental health and/or addiction challenges. Teens typically stay at CASA House for around four months. The program involves active participation of parents and caregivers in treatment, including individual, group, and family therapy, social and life skills training, as well as on-site schooling in small classroom settings.

Responsibilities of the Behavioral Specialist:
  • Develop and assist in implementing individual treatment plans, behavioral plans, and safety plans for adolescents facing various challenges.
  • Implement therapeutic models of individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Provide leadership to a team of Therapy Support Assistants.
  • Manage daily staff schedules, task assignments, and breaks.
  • Participate in program planning and clinical team meetings.
  • Ensure open reporting about patient safety events and take necessary precautions.
  • Protect the health and safety of staff and physicians.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in behavioral science, psychology, education, or social work, with Board-Certified Behavior Analyst certification OR in the process of acquiring BCBA certification with relevant experience. Additionally, a Behavioral Interventions Certificate of Achievement is required. Experience with mood concerns, learning disabilities, executive dysfunction, and personality disorder traits is preferred. Previous leadership experience is valued.
