This is an afternoon-shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Properly adjust machines to correct setting as required, lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly in a safe manner
  • Operate machines or equipment or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice, fit and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products
  • Operate finishing machines or equipment to trim, grind or buff rubber products into final form
  • Clean and maintain work area as needed or as required by the maintenance schedule
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience as a Rubber lining Technician with knowledge Rubber Lining Applications, Rubber Lining Equipment and safety procedures preferred
  • Able to operate power tools in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  • A positive, 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn, working both in a team and independently
  • Enjoying an adaptable work environment
  • Ability to problem solve and detailed oriented
  • Effective communication skills
