Middlesex Terrace is recruiting Part Time Dietary Aide - Summer students

Education required for Summer Students - Part Time Dietary Aides:

  • Currently enrolled in school and attending school in September 2023
Employment is April September 202- Must have 3 Covid Vaccines to be considered for position

  • Enjoy working in a longterm care setting
  • Be able to communicate in English including written documentation.
  • Previous experience working in the food service industry and asset
  • Hold Current Food Handler's Certificate
  • Have a valid police check with a vulnerable screen within 6 months of hire
  • Have a TB test with results within 6 months of hire
  • Prepares and cleans dining room tables.
  • Familiar with use of therapeutics and modified diets
  • Assists portioning desserts, pouring milk, juices and any special food or beverage items for regular and modified diets
  • Performs cleaning functions including dining tables, chairs and designated areas in the kitchens and/or dining rooms.
  • Serves client meals including client preferences
  • Use of an industrial dishwasher
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Available for Call ins

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
From $21.05 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • DELAWARE, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
