The CNC operator is responsible for performing simple machining operations using turning or milling machines.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble parts according to the required assembly;
  • Assemble, install and position cutting tools;
  • Load program into the CNC machine;
  • Verify the conformity of machined parts using measuring instruments;
  • Monitor the operations of the machine to ensure proper running of the operational sequences.

Job qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical diploma in machining techniques or any combination of technical raining and experience deemed relevant;
  • Bilingual (French and English
  • Ability to ready and interpret English work instructions)
  • Ability to work standing up and lift material/equipment of 2030lbs;
  • Understanding of basic operations on CNC machines
  • Available to work on an Evening or Night shift
  • Evening shift: 3h30pm to 11h30pm
  • Additional 2$ premium per hour
  • Night shift: 11h30pm to 07h30am
  • Additional 3$ premium per hour
