Banquet Setter

Located in the heart of Guelph, Cutten Fields offers a blend of outstanding tradition with superior service in Guelph's only first-class private golf and tennis club.

Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.

We are looking for a Banquet Setter to join our Food & Beverage Team.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Supervisors, the Banquet Setters are responsible for working with the Food & Beverage team to ensure banquets and events are set up and taken down correctly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone to:

• Prepare banquet and event rooms for functions in a timely manner;
• Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations;
• Follow Banquet Event Orders closely, paying attention to details;
• Pour and refill wine, coffee, water and other nonalcoholic beverages as needed;
• Assist in closing functions by removing linens, dishes, taking down tables and resetting for the next function;
• Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly;
• Greet guests and respond to requests;
• Use proper inroom clearing and aisle tray breakdown buffet or other special food service tables and equipment;
• Other duties as required

• Has a positive, passionate attitude
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Has a flexible schedule the ability to work days, evenings, weekends & holidays
