We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. Your expertise in Java, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Spring, microservices architecture, and APIGEE will be essential in building reliable and efficient systems. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, excels in a fast-paced setting, and enjoys tackling complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain top-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, and microservices architecture.
  • Work with diverse teams to grasp business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Create APIs and microservices to facilitate smooth integration across various systems and applications.
  • Utilize APIGEE for designing, securing, and managing APIs to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Establish and uphold CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and testing procedures.
  • Carry out code reviews, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and incorporate best practices to sustain code quality and manageability.
  • Address and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize disruptions to business operations.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on current systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on Java-based technologies.
  • Extensive proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), encompassing GKE, GCE, and GCP services.
  • Strong command of Spring framework, Spring Boot, and associated technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Practical experience with API management platforms, with a preference for APIGEE.
  • Sound knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other web service protocols.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Effective communication abilities for collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
