Title Vulnerability Management Analyst-Specialist

Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst-Specialist for our client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

General tasks:

- Support the development and execution of the enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management Program.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and scans across the organization's applications, systems, and networks.
- Administer the vulnerability management toolset
- Collaborate with application teams to provide guidance on remediation strategies and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize identified risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Help build and enhance the organization's application security program, including the management of scanning tools and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vulnerability remediation, report on the SLA's and provide guidance.
- Document and maintain accurate records of vulnerabilities, actions taken, and remediation progress.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies in the field of cybersecurity.

Position Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in vulnerability management, preferably in an enterprise-wide setting.
- 5+ years of IT experience with a diverse technology background.
- 3+ years of experience specifically in vulnerability management.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure security models and controls.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module and Qualys is a plus.
- Solid understanding of application security principles, best practices, and scanning methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
