Greenhills Country Club is looking for Bartenders who will be an integral part of each member's dining experience while at the Club.

Greenhills has a Café, Patio, Pub, Cocktail Lounge, Dining Room as well as a large Bar at the main Clubhouse.

On the course there is a Hut located in a central position to the golf course where a server works selling beverages and BBQ items.

Knowledge in Tee On POS system is an asset.

Basic Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serving and creating drinks for customers and events
  • Collecting payments from customers
  • Operating point of sale terminals and providing bills to customers
  • Cleaning the bar and the area around it
  • Hiring and training new employees
  • Operating blenders and other equipment
  • Washing glassware and bar utensils
  • Monitoring bar inventory, supplies and ingredients
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial or territorial liquor and food safety regulations

Qualitfications

  • Experience in the designated field an asset but not mandatory.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills and the ability to keep track of customer tabs
  • Food safety and preparation skills including an understanding of how viruses and bacteria can spread
  • Mixology or the ability to make traditional cocktails and create new ones
  • Familiarity with local liquor laws and the ability to enforce them

Certificates:
Must have Smart Serve to Apply

Hours:

Full Time 32-44 hours/week

Part Time 8—32 hours/week

Schedule:

  • 4hour shift

  • Day shift/Evening Shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday/Weekend availability

Job Benefits:
