Responsibilities:

Reporting (40%)

  • Develop and create reports using Excel, Cognos and Salesforce to track volume levels, originations by Dealer/DRM and/or Region
  • Create Dashboards, Key Performance Indicator Reports, and other strategic related reports
  • Prepare Dealer Performance Report, Lease Penetration report, Carline and Pricing Reports
  • Produce reporting on our CDN Protection Product on enrollment, claims, dealer and customer adoption, etc
  • Assist with Monthly Executive Reporting, Investor Report, Demographic Report
  • Create and update statistical data for the Remarketing Department including projection, return rates, gains/losses
  • Update and maintain Canadian Reporting Center
  • Assist with the output of GMF's Reporting Package
  • Work closely with all operational areas to facilitate their respective reporting needs
  • Ensure all departmental reports are prepared accurately and within the Department Guidelines
  • Communicate and Interact both written and verbally with various entities internally and externally
  • Work on Automating or streamlining processes
  • Other AD HOC reporting as needed
Data Analysis (40%)

  • Conduct analysis as required on any new product development initiatives
  • Review Market Trends, Internal operations, long and short term strategies
  • Perform data mining using SQL, SAS, Cognos, Microsoft Access and/or excel via Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Provide strategic recommendations on all ongoing operations relative to Sales, Credit, Funding,Servicing, CX, Finance and Remarketing, CDN Protection Products, etc
  • Assist with the build and maintenance of an Industry Dashboard, Retention level tracker, Residual trending, Pricing Model
  • Participate in special projects
Project Management (5%)

  • Support system integration as necessary
  • Assist with assigned projects by conducting data analysis and providing valuable feedback
  • Participate in system testing and data management
Miscellaneous (15%)

  • Provide data support to both GM Oshawa, GMF Texas and 3rd Party vendors
  • Build relationships with key departmental areas
  • Provide back up to Residual and Subvention system loads


 Dealer Management
  • Updating RSM/DRM/Credit Analyst assignments

Qualifications:

Knowledge

  • Ability to multitask and handle large volumes of work
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with team members in various departments in organization
  • Aptitude for simple mathematical calculations
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma required

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in data analysis, data mining, statistic, and forecasting and loan portfolio analysis
  • Automotive Finance, Data Reporting and Analytics, Leasing or Retail Finance experience preferred
  • Experience with Cognos, SAS, Salesforce and Excel dashboards preferred
