What it takes to thrive in this role

  • You must be a registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Openings are accessible for both RNs and RPNs
  • You should be willing to travel within London or the Oxford County region, possessing a reliable, insured vehicle, and a valid driver's license
  • You need to present proof of your professional liability insurance and a clear police check with vulnerable sector screening
  • Your patient-centered care approach should drive your decision-making process
  • You must acknowledge and value the contributions of all interdisciplinary team members and exhibit exceptional communication skills to facilitate collaborative care
  • You should have a keen awareness of diversity and actively promote inclusivity in your practice
  • You should comprehend the vital role of home healthcare in supporting the broader health system and feel confident in directing clients and their families to relevant resources to achieve their objectives
  • You should embrace technology to enhance your practice
  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is mandatory; knowledge of French or other languages is beneficial
  • Experience in tracheostomy care, wound care, venipuncture, and diabetes monitoring is advantageous
