The Department:

The Country Management department is responsible for optimizing development and driving performance to maximize the local market potential of all brands and products.

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Retention Marketing, this role will work with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business to ensure consistent and effective strategies are agreed and implemented at the local market level. You will be responsible for devising, agreeing, and implementing effective regional strategies to meet and exceed the company objectives & targets at the market level. You will be the key knowledge center for your region within the business, always maintaining, an up-to-date, operational understanding of any, and all regulatory, compliance, and or, licensing information relevant to your market.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Overall Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive country-specific marketing strategy to support the global brand strategy in order to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Revenue Accountability: Take full ownership of the bottom-line revenues for the country, with a focus on consistent growth.
  • Budget Management: Manage allocated marketing budget effectively to achieve ROI goals and allocate resources for optimal performance.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and trends in the local online casino industry.
  • Customer Acquisition: Support global acquisition efforts with regional targeted marketing campaigns and partnerships to drive customer growth.
  • Retention Marketing: Support global retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn ensuring all marketing activities are culturally relevant and regionally authentic, aligning with the local market's preferences and regulations.
  • Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives and overall business performance.
  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local gaming regulations and ensure the company's operations adhere to all legal requirements.
  • Partnership Management: Collaborate with local partners, affiliates, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts and expand the brand's presence.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights on market performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in growing markets with demonstrable examples.
  • Experience of working with CEO and director-level stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with or managing budgets.
  • Significant experience of working with product developers, legal and compliance, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize, discuss, and present data, results, and proposals internally and externally.
  • All behavioral competencies are also essential.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Proven experience with data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within short timelines.
