Our Ophthalmologist Office is looking for a driven individual with a desire to learn and grow in their position working in a challenging energetic team environment.

The Ophthalmic technician will be assisting in using diagnostic equipment to preform patient testing.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • performing diagnostic scans of the eyes
- collecting medical and patient information
- vision checks
- dilation of patients.

Educational Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education required
  • Ophthalmic Assistance Certificate, Medical Office Assistant, or Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate is not required but preferred.
  • Accuro software experience would be an asset

Essential Skills:

  • Written and Verbal Communications
  • Documentation
  • Team oriented
  • Adapting to change

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
No weekends

Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
