As an Azure Infrastructure Technical Specialist, you will engage with customers to guide them towards technical decisions, leveraging our sales strategy to address their digital transformation and align our technology with their business needs. Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with customers , understanding their infrastructure needs and providing tailored Azure solutions.
  • Demonstrate Azure technologies through technical presentations, demos, and workshops, ensuring technical decision wins.
  • Maintain deep technical expertise in Azure services, continuously updating knowledge on new features and industry trends.
  • Scale Customer Engagements: Proactively reach out to customers, use deep knowledge of Azure solutions and industry standards to build credibility, and lead technical discussions to ensure technical wins.
  • Leverage Partner Ecosystem: Act as a liaison between partners and Microsoft, facilitating resources and processes throughout project engagements.
  • Build Strategy: Capture and deliver competitive insights back to our product teams, provide strategic, technical, and partner input to develop compete strategies and customer success plans.
  • Solution Design and Proof: Oversee demonstrations, such as architectural design sessions and proof of concept (POC) sessions, to showcase the integration and capabilities of Microsoft solutions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).

Technology Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $121,800 - CAD $219,100 per year.
