In this role, you'll be the smiling face that greets customers, takes their orders, and ensures their dining experience is top-notch.
You'll work closely with our amazing team to keep the restaurant running smoothly, from food prep to keeping the place clean and tidy.
Some of the specific job duties you may be responsible for include:
- Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about our menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Assist customers with any concerns or complaints, ensuring they are addressed promptly and to their satisfaction
- Report customer feedback, including positive comments, complaints, or suggestions, to the manager
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Collaborate with the kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
Requirements:
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Team player mentality, willing to collaborate and support the restaurant team
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Fluency in English and French (both required)
