THE ORGANIZATION
North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is a unique health care organization with three primary roles: providing
acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district referral centre providing
specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it's the specialized mental health service provider serving all
of northeast Ontario. At more than 400 beds, our state-of-the-art regional health centre has over 150 physicians, 2300
employees and 250 volunteers.

North Bay is located 3.5 hours north of Toronto, just north of the district of Muskoka, and 3.5 hours west of Ottawa.

*QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 

Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario

Paediatric Certification is an asset

Required to perform adult and paediatric scanning including neonates

Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures using independent judgement to accurately differentiate
between normal and pathological findings.


Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required

Current NVCI Certificate required

Strong organizational skills required

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health
team required


Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment required

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of client groups to ensure patient focussed care delivery
required


Demonstrated commitment to professional development required

Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors

Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization

Good attendance and work record required


_French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level._
Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check recent within six (6) months is a requirement
