Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Security platform designed to help security teams respond to cyber-threats with confidence, automate with intelligence, and collaborate with consistency.

It captures and codifies established incident response processes into dynamic playbooks to guide and empower teams with the knowledge to resolve security threats.

It helps teams accelerate and orchestrate their response by automating actions with intelligence and integrating with other security tools. Also, it allows teams to visualize and understand security incidents to prioritize and take action.

Responsibilities

  • Design test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional testing of our Web Application
  • Provide active technical leadership throughout the entire development process, including reviewing acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases and test automation code, setting up environments, and communicating with the project team on defects, issues, and QA status
  • Develop, implement, and debug automated test scripts
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum Development Environment
  • Prioritize testing efforts to best effectuate corporate strategies in collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Develop new and maintain current testcases

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Junit, Selenium, Cypress, etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and with Agile tools such as Jira
  • Language proficiency: Java, JavaScript, Node, Groovy or Python
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Cloud and Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
  • Proficiency with Unixlike operating systems (Bash)
  • Location Markham, Ontario

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of TestRail test case repository
  • Experience with Geb/Groovy/CodeceptJS/Cypress
  • Networking/Security expertise
