AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position involves working within a team environment and ensuring accurate collation, assembly, packaging, and labeling of products

Responsibilities also include:
- prepare and/or assemble printed products
- assist machine operators when required
- learn new processes for multiple roles/machinery

SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Customer Service oriented
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Able to read, understand and follow docket instructions
  • Strong hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination are essential
  • Efficient mathematical skills
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds and capable of standing for long durations
  • Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness are essential
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Able to meet tight deadlines with limited supervision
  • Able to multitask in addition to working well under pressure

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Previous experience in hand bindery or operating bindery equipment is an asset
  • Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to secret level

SHIFT

  • Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Opportunity to work overtime.
