Available Shifts: Hiring for 4 full-time Cleaner Positions in Langley in the Yorkson - Willoughby area.
  • Varied shift options available between 8am – 10pm, with potential weekend shifts.
Core Duties:
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards by overseeing waste management, parking areas, amenity rooms, entrances, elevators, and other areas.
  • Keep lobbies, hallways, and mailboxes clean, orderly, and well-kept.
  • Monitor the functionality, cleanliness, and lighting of elevators and promptly report any issues.
  • Identify and report maintenance and repair needs, as well as inventory status, to supervisors.
  • Handle garbage disposal and common area cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Continuously refine procedures and respond promptly to requests to enhance building operations.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with residents through respectful interactions.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of industrial/commercial/hotel cleaning experience is mandatory. Prior strata experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong customer service capabilities.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English.
Physical Demands:
  • Capable of cleaning and monitoring the property, including stairs, hallways, parkade, and both interior and exterior of the building; extensive walking involved.
  • Ability to handle and manage garbage bins physically.
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, etc.).
