Job Skills / Requirements

Job Description: The Customer Service Representative Guard shall comply with the following or perform the activities below:

  • Report directly to the Representative of the GTAA daily
  • Handle permit and license applications, including preparing and reviewing documents
  • Administer the taxicab and limousine driver testing program
  • Facilitate fee payment tracking and reconciliation for commercial vehicle administration
  • Assist in preparing legal documents for permit transfers
  • Maintain electronic files for Permit Holders, drivers, and vehicle information
  • Process and print drivers ID cards
  • Manage correspondence and records for complaints, investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Assist in inspecting taxis, limos, and peak period vehicles
  • Administer and maintain the Enforcement Program for vendor compliance
  • Liaison with IEO and MPO as needed
  • Provide assistance to Drivers when required
  • Conduct regular inspections of CVHA & PARD buildings and report findings to GTAA representatives
  • Perform other related duties as necessary

Upon interview, applicants must provide the following prerequisites:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • First Aid and CPR - Level C (Must be WSIB Approved)
  • 3 Years of Security or Industry Related Experience
  • Cleared Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors

High School Diploma/GED
