Full availability required (Days, Afternoons, Overnight):


  • week day and weekend availability
  • Create a supportive and collaborative environment in order to maximize clients' potential.
  • Role modeling, queuing and prompting effective communication skills
  • Participate in communitybased activities
  • Skill acquisition / assisting with social skills life skills
  • Assist in personal care

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize Mental Health Diagnosis
  • Behavioral Management

Open Availability (days, afternoons, overnights):

  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current Police check (within 3 months)
  • Certified in Safe Management or willing to obtain
  • Current drivers abstract

The
Support Worker is responsible for providing a variety of supports including personal care, behaviour management, mental health support and etc.

to live their lives to their fullest potential. Other duties may include meal prepping, light housekeeping, detail note-taking among other tasks.

Salary:
$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Personal Care (toileting, bathing and Personal Care): 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Class G Licence (required)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
  • Safe Management (required)
