Lake Country, Canada 50th Parallel Estate Full time

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food to order in a timely manner
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order and report any issues to the head chef
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Clean and maintain the kitchen and equipment to a high standard of cleanliness
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with the development of new menu items as required
Ensure that all food is properly labeled and stored

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a line cook
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
