Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Mechanic's Assistant for the summer season. This position is ideal for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry. Under the guidance of our experienced technicians, you will have the opportunity to learn valuable skills and contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities:

Assist technicians with various tasks such as vehicle inspections, tire rotations, oil changes, and other repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning tools and work areas. Learn to operate and maintain automotive equipment and tools safely. Assist with the installation and removal of vehicle components as directed. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Enrolled in a high school or post-secondary program, preferably in automotive maintenance and repair or a related field. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components is preferred. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions closely. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be punctual and reliable.
